Personal data

Personal data is data about your person. This includes your name, address and e-mail address. You also do not have to disclose any personal data in order to visit our website. In some cases, we need your name and address as well as other information in order to provide you with the requested service.

The same applies in the event that we supply you with information material on request or when we answer your inquiries. In these cases, we will always point this out to you. In addition, we only store the data that you have transmitted to us automatically or voluntarily.

When you use one of our services, we generally collect only the information necessary to provide you with our service. We may ask you for additional information, but this is voluntary. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial objectives.

Contact

When contacting us (e.g. by contact form, e-mail, telephone or via social media), the information of the inquiring persons is processed to the extent necessary to respond to the contact requests and any requested measures.

The response to contact requests in the context of contractual or pre-contractual relationships is made in order to fulfill our contractual obligations or to respond to (pre)contractual inquiries and otherwise on the basis of legitimate interests in responding to the inquiries.

  • Types of data processed: inventory data (e.g. names, addresses), contact data (e.g. e-mail, telephone numbers), content data (e.g. entries in online forms).
  • Affected persons: Communication partners.
  • Purposes of processing: contact requests and communication.
  • Legal basis: Contract fulfillment and pre-contractual requests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO), Legitimate Interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO).

Automatically stored data

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Date and time of the request
  • Name of the requested file
  • Page from which the file was requested
  • Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
  • Web browser and operating system used
  • Complete IP address of the requesting computer
  • Data volume transferred

This data is not merged with other data sources. The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.

For reasons of technical security, in particular to defend against attempted attacks on our web server, this data is stored by us for a short period of time. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons on the basis of this data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymized by shortening the IP address at domain level, so that it is no longer possible to establish a link to the individual user. The data is also processed in anonymized form for statistical purposes; it is not compared with other data or passed on to third parties, even in excerpts.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Many cookies contain a so-called cookie ID. A cookie ID is a unique identifier of the cookie. It consists of a string of characters by which Internet pages and servers can be assigned to the specific Internet browser in which the cookie was stored. This enables the visited Internet pages and servers to distinguish the individual browser of the data subject from other Internet browsers that contain other cookies. A specific internet browser can be recognized and identified via the unique cookie ID.

Through the use of session cookies, the controller can provide the users of this website with a user-friendly service that would not be possible without the cookie setting. Without consent, we only use technically necessary cookies on the legal basis of legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.

We only use personal cookies to improve our website or for marketing/advertising purposes with your consent. On your first visit, you can voluntarily agree to tracking or analysis via the cookie banner that appears. If necessary, your data will be passed on to partners or third-party providers. Only if you explicitly agree, these cookies will be stored, the legal basis is then your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

Consents to cookies are managed exclusively on the server of our website and can be revoked by the user at any time. The website is hosted by PLUTEX GmbH, 28197 Bremen.

Google Analytics

Our website uses the tracking tool "Google Analytics". This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). This tracking tool helps us to make our website more interesting for you and to improve the user experience. In this process, data about the use of our website is stored in pseudonymous user profiles. Cookies may also be used for this purpose. In addition, data from various devices, sessions and interactions can be linked to a so-called "user ID". The information generated is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We would like to inform you that on our website Google Analytics has been extended by the "anonymizeIp" function. This means that your IP address is first shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and only then transferred to a Google server in the USA. The shortening of the IP address is an additional measure pursuant to Art. 25 (1) DSGVO for the protection of users, but it does not result in the complete data processing being anonymized. Thus, when Google Analytics is used, in addition to the IP address, other usage data is also collected that is to be assessed as personal data, such as identifiers of the individual users, which also allow a link to an existing Google account, for example. On our behalf, Google will use the information obtained via Google Analytics to evaluate your use of our website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. The pseudonymized usage profiles will not be merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without a separately granted consent.

For more information about Google Analytics, see:

https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2790010?hl=de

Please note that Google also has independent access to your data collected via Google Analytics and can also use this data for its own purposes. For example, Google may link this data with other data about you, such as search history, personal account, usage data from other devices, and any other data that Google has about you.

The legal basis for our processing of your data is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You give your corresponding consent via our cookie banner. Please note that Google is a company from the USA. According to a recent ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ), there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA and therefore a risk to the protection of your data.

For example, under certain circumstances, your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes. If you still wish to consent to the use of this tool, you can select this via the cookie banner.

Google Ads (conversion tracking)

Furthermore, we work with the online marketing method Google Ads. Google Ads is a service of Google Ireland Limited, a company registered and operated under Irish law with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The legal basis for our processing of your data is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. a DSGVO. You give your corresponding consent via our cookie banner.

In the context of Google Ads advertisements, we also use conversion tracking. When a user visits our site via an advertisement, a "conversion cookie" is set, which allows us to track how many users have performed an action resulting from the advertising campaign. Only anonymized data is collected, so that no user is personally identifiable for A+B Electronic. Rather, the procedure is used for internal online marketing in order to be able to create statistics that assess the effectiveness of the advertising measures. The data stored via Google Ads is valid for 90 days and is then automatically deleted. In Google's privacy policy, you will find further information on the use of data by Google, as well as on your settings and objection options (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads).

Please note that Google is a company from the USA. According to a recent ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ), there is no adequate level of data protection in the USA and therefore a risk to the protection of your data.

For example, under certain conditions, your data may be processed by US authorities for control and monitoring purposes. If you would like to object to the processing of your data in this form by Googls Ads, please select the category "Website use" in our cookie banner. In this way, you revoke your consent with effect for the future.

Google Tag Manager

Because transparency is an important concern for us, we would also like to point out the use of the Google Tag Manager at this point. No personal data is collected or processed via this tool itself. In the context of conversion tracking via Google Ads and the use of Google Analytics, only website tags are created and managed here, with which website usage can be better analyzed and optimized.

We use the lead generation service of Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands. This recognizes visits by companies to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information for this purpose, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Leadinfo sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website and processes domains from form entries (e.g., "leadinfo.com") to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve the services.
